VP, Orthodontics Strategy
Ted joined Henry Schein Dental’s Specialty Products Group in March, 2012 as Vice President of Global Marketing. In July, 2013 he was named Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing and is currently responsible for all aspects of Henry Schein Orthodontics’ commercial strategies and tactical planning, as well as marketing strategy for the other specialty companies in the group.
Ted has nearly 30 years of sales, marketing and general management experience in the medical and dental device sectors. Prior to joining Henry Schein Orthodontics, Ted held senior management positions at Sybron Dental Specialties, including VP Global Marketing at SybronEndo, General Manager at Sybron Implant Solutions, and VP of Marketing and Innovation at Ormco®. His tenure at Ormco included a six year stint in Europe, followed by several years of global marketing leadership during which time the company gained the number one market share position in the industry. Earlier in his career, Ted was Director of Sales at MediSense, Inc., where he helped drive double digit growth that led to the acquisition of the business by Abbott Labs. Ted has an undergraduate degree in Marketing from San Diego State University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
